Testimonials are what will make your coaching business trustworthy. People actually care about what others are thinking. The best way for them to know this is to read testimonials/reviews about your coaching business.

If you do have positive reviews, I'm sure you'll agree on the fact that this will tremendously help your business. On the other side, having negative reviews will have the opposite effect.

However, nowadays everybody has testimonials/reviews and we have to find innovative ways to use them to actually drive sales and stand out from the pack.



This article will assume that you already have some testimonials either on your Facebook page, your Google Business page or website.

 I’m going to show you 4 powerful & easy ways to get more consulting calls!

ONLY SHARED ONCE

Life & Career coaches, unfortunately, don’t leverage the power of testimonials in their business. For some reasons testimonials have been for the majority of coaching websites left on the homepage and never used again. 



The problem is that as soon as you have a testimonial you either share it once on your social media accounts or you simply add it to your testimonial section on your homepage.

Chances are, after doing this you don’t really see any boost in your coaching business.

YOU'RE ASKING FOR TOO MUCH

You might think that having a testimonial or success stories page is enough and will help you convert more website visitors into clients.

However, by doing this you’re hoping that your website visitors will actually click on this section and go through each testimonial, which is unlikely…

 

WHAT TO DO

1. SHOW THEM ON YOUR WEBSITE TO BUILD TRUST

Use testimonials for your social media marketing plan. You should frequently post testimonials you received using different designs on your social media.

Let’s say you posted a testimonial once, chances are your ideal client was not around when you posted it and probably missed it.

To ensure everybody who may be interested in your services knows that you are getting positive reviews you should plan to post them over time.

2. SHARE THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Use testimonials for your social media marketing plan. You should frequently post testimonials you received using different designs on your social media.

3. IN YOUR EMAIL MARKETING AUTOMATION

What you want is to make sure everybody who is connected to your business knows how great you are! You probably have an Email Marketing Automation with a list of contacts.

Make sure to add some testimonials at the bottom of each email, that way you’ll be perceived as the GO-TO coach.


4. ON YOUR PROPOSAL

As I said already, you should never send a word contract document. I’ll explain why in another article! 



Make sure to add your testimonials after the investment section, because this is when they are going to ask themselves if your services are worth it!

But also add some of them before the agreement section to increase the level of trust.

You can do all this with Better Proposal and this also what I use with my clients.

MOe's tips

Don’t share irrelevant testimonials on your website. For example, under your consulting page, you should have testimonials related to this service.

This is the best way to increase trust and also to push them to take action.

TIME TO WORK

First of all, collect all your testimonials and look at all the services you offer, you can use a table for that. 



Second, distribute your testimonials across your website/email marketing automation/proposal software as stated above.
